Update on The Richard's

   Its been almost a year since I last blogged! Hard to believe time flies by so fast! We've had so many changes over the past year; Lawson is such a big boy now, he's walking, talking, learning to put sentences together, and becoming more of his little person everyday. He is now 19 months and all boy! He loves dirt, rocks, trucks, tractors, and anything that can noise. Just recently he has learned his favorite answer to everything is "No" and when he wakes up his first words is " Cookie, then course "Mommie" or "Daddie" as he would say! He's such an amazing little boy and hold every inch of my heart. For some the big question is " When are you going to have another baby"? As some may know we had a miscarriage back in October, 2012, it was hard for our family, but we know God has his own plans. Since then we have been enjoying every moment with Lawson and just being together as family. So to answer the "big" question, there are no future plans for baby #2, for now!

   Now on to me... mommie... wife.... friend.... I've been quite busy with lifestyle changes and enduring my weight loss journey. After losing the baby #2, I became very motivated to lose weight and live a healthier life style. One of my biggest motivators has been Lawson. I don't want to be the mom who can't enjoy playing her child because of her "size". Its such a slap in the face to realized just how much your weight interferes with your ability to live the life you dream of. Currently I'm down 31 pounds and I still have very far to go. I've had several people ask me " What are you doing to lose weight"? So here's the run down.... Eat clean, exercise, and drink water! Yep that's it! It sounds simple but for me everyday is a challenge. Recently I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and I can honestly say it has made a huge difference in my shape and tone. Its 30 mins a day and the impact is high, but anyone can do it! Before I dreaded working out, but now I actually look forward to my workouts with Jillian! Its not easy guys, but as I meet each small goal I know my bigger ones are getting closer and closer. I look forward to sharing my journey and any tips and advise I can offer. Losing weight is not easy, but when your finally see results it makes you want it even more. Here are a few links to the works I've been following!
